On November 2, 2024, the Carole Cascio Fund held its first-ever World Day of Dance at the Todd Performing Arts Center (TPAC) at Chesapeake College. American Dance Festival’s Director of Education Nile Russell auditions local dancers at Queen Annes County High School for the prestigious world renowned summer dance festival

On October 24, 2024, Executive Director Peter Pucci invited his friend Nile Russell, Director of Education at the prestigious world renowned American Dance Festival (ADF) to come to Queen Anne’s County High School. CCF provides transportation for 50 dance students from Kent Island Queen Anne’s County High Schools to attend a Jazz Masterclass at CCBC’s Essex Campus

On Oct. 14, 2024 the Carole Cascio Fund sponsored bus transportation for 50 dancers and their dance teachers, Amber Wright from Kent Island High School(KIHS) and Kristen Tyler from Queen Anne’s County High School (QACHS) to participate in a Jazz Masterclass taught by dance instructor Cynthia Gutierrez at the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) Essex campus. The 3rd Annual Carole Cascio Fund Benefit at Mark Cascia Vineyards features Ballet Hispánico’s Pa’Lante Dancers from New York City

On Sunday, October 6th the Mark Cascia Vineyards in Stevensville hosted the 3rd Annual Carole Cascio Fund Benefit. This year’s benefit featured the professional dance company Ballet Hispánico’s Pa’Lante Dancers from New York City. There was a lot of community support to help set up the stage for the company, including Amber Wright the Dance Teacher at KIHS who loaded CCF their dance floor and Michael Bell help arrange the transportation

Carole Cascio Fund’s Team Teaches Three Movement Classes at Queen Anne’s County High School for Chorus Students and Dancers

On September 18 at Queen Anne’s County High School(QACHS), Carole Cascio Fund’s (CCF) Executive Director Peter Pucci, CCF Teaching Artist Adrienne Kraus Latanishen and CCF Intern Gaby Pfeifer team taught two of Luke Whitehair’s Chorus classes. Amy Young Former Dancer with the Paul Taylor Dance Company in New York City is Choreographing on Queen Anne’s County Dancers

Amy (Young) Kleinendorst was a former professional dancer for 17 years with the Paul Taylor Dance Company in New York City. She is currently choreographing on the Queen Anne’s County High School (QACHS) dancers. We Honor Renown Local Dance Legend Wally Dashiell

September 2024 – Local dance legend Wally Dashiell an inspiration to local dancers for over 60 years was a passionate and extraordinary advocate for local dance.
