Executive Director Peter Pucci and Advisory Committee member Anna Rider worked closely with Michael Bell the Supervisor of Instruction for Queen Anne’s County to create a hands on movement workshop with twenty five K-12 teachers from QACPS as Professional Development session.
The teachers worked with Anna and Peter as they explored numerous ways of using movement in the curriculum. Together they collaborated and worked to discover creative movement choices that they could use with students in their classes. The various types of teachers attending taught all type of classes from music, voice, choir, band, dance and theater.
It was a fun and delightful session with a wide variety of movement vocabulary discovered by the teachers.
