Carole Cascio Fund October Event Was a Big Success

The Gathering to Celebrate Carole Cascio’s contributions to the community and to benefit her newly formed foundation went beautifully. It was a spectacular sunny fall day at the Mark Cascia Vineyards in Stevensville. Mark and Kim Cascia old friends of Carole’s were our gracious hosts. Many of Carole’s friends were there to help celebrate her legacy.

Dance teacher Kristen Tyler from Queens County High School brought her dancers to perform a few traditional dances outdoors on lawn. It was a lovely performance.

Maureen Wheatley from Kent Island Federation for the Arts organized a display of Carole’s watercolors and ceramics. Debbie Dean Catering of Easton supplied a delicious assortment of appetizers.

Michael Bell the Supervisor of Instruction for QACPS was there and created a wonderful video (below) to share.

Journalist Doug Bishop also attended the event and graciously wrote this article the Bay Times and Record Observer.
