About the Carole Cascio Fund
The Carole Cascio Fund for Mind Movement Dance was founded to honor the legacy of dancer, educator, choreographer, and local artist, Carole Cascio. Carole, a long time resident of Kent Island, believed deeply in the power of dance to nurture imagination, confidence, and connection—especially in young people.
Today, the Fund brings that vision to life by providing high-quality dance instruction, access to professional performances, and opportunities for students across the Mid Shore Counties of Queen Anne’s, Kent, Caroline, Talbot, Dorchester and at Chesapeake College. We work closely with schools, community centers, and performing arts partners to create meaningful movement experiences that are joyful, inclusive, and educational.
