Carole Cascio Fund Supports Students to Participate in a Masterclass

The Carole Cascio Fund made it possible for thirty dancers and their teachers, Amber Wright from Kent Island High School and Kristin Tyler from Queen Anne’s County High School, to travel and participate in a master class taught by New York City B-girl hip hop choreographer Ephrat Asherie at the Community College of Baltimore, Essex Campus.

Besides the QACHS dancers there were over 100 dancers gathered from various high schools in the Baltimore County Public School System.

Ephrat finished the master class with a huge fun jam session with the dancers.
She also spent time with the dancers informative Q&A session about her experiences in the New York hip-hop scene.

Community dancers participate in a Paul Taylor Dance Intensive taught by Paul Taylor Dance Company alumni from New York City Amy Young Kleinendorst and Rob Kleinendorst

March 22, 2026, the Todd Performing Arts center at Chesapeake College.

The local dance community, including Mid Shore Dance Academy from Centreville, Design in Motion from Annapolis, The Ensemble from Baltimore, New Motions Dance Studio in Cambridge and dancers from the Towson University Dance Program.
