Molly Jean Kirkup Heer – Jazz Instructor Molly has her BA in Dance from the University of Maryland – College Park. She is a dancer, guest choreographer and educator around the Maryland/DC area with local companies, studios, public and private schools for over fifteen years; and is currently teaching adult and childrens classes through Continuing Education at the Community College of Baltimore County. As well as teaching dance, she is a 500 hour registered yoga teacher with Elite Athlete, Pre-Natal and PilatesBarre Certifications. She has previously danced with Adrienne Kraus Latanishen, Withhart Dance Project and the Collective and is currently working on creating and sharing her own works that reflect on culture though a satirical lens.

Stephanie O’Hare – Tap Instructor Stephanie has been tapping since the age of 5 and has trained extensively in other genres such as modern, contemporary, jazz and hip hop. Throughout college, she was a part of CCBC Essex Dance Company and Trajectory Dance Ensemble. She received a Bachelor of Dance from UMBC, and later joined Tap51, a Tap ensemble from DC in 2025 for one season. She currently teaches tap classes at CCBC Essex and choreographs for shows and competitions at local private studios.

Adrienne Kraus Latanishen – Musical Theater Instructor

Adrienne is a teaching artist for the Carole Cascio Fund for Mind Movement Dance Connections. Her dance career began at The Community College of Baltimore County where she graduated with her A.A. in Dance before earning her B.A. in Dance from University of Maryland, College Park.

She has danced professionally for Trajectory Dance Project, Molly Jean Kirkup Heer, BlueShift Dance, The Collective, B3W, Andary Dance, withhart.dance.projects, and independently as a freelance dancer. She has choreographed for theatre companies, studios, high schools, Baltimore Composers Forum, and Maryland Opera Camp since 2011.

For several years, Adrienne was the Director of Dance at St. Timothy’s School and Artist is Residence at Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts. Currently, Adrienne works at CCBC as adjunct dance faculty, a choreographer for their dance company, and the Performing Arts Coordinator for Continuing Education. In addition, Ms. Kraus Latanishen serves on the Baltimore County Commission on Arts and Sciences as the Chair of the Performing Arts Subcommittee. She feels fortunate to work for the Carole Cascio Fund given the connection to CCBC she, Carole, and Peter all share.

Lia Mervis – Ballroom Instructor

Lia is a Baltimore, Maryland based dancer and educator who began her dance training at the age of four. She attended a performing arts middle school and later continued her formal education at the prestigious Baltimore School for the Arts. Ms. Mervis furthered her training through programs at Goucher College and Nashville Ballet before pursuing a dance major at The Community College of Baltimore County and Virginia Commonwealth University.

Lia has extensive teaching experience, having worked with MGM Dance Studio, Arthur Murray Dance Center, Step Ahead Dance Studio, The Community College of Baltimore County, and currently Expressions Performing Arts Center. Her choreography has been selected and showcased at The Community College of Baltimore County, highlighting her creative voice as an emerging choreographer.

In addition to her performance and teaching career, Lia participated in the Disney College Program and was formerly a dancer with The Trajectory Dance Project. She remains deeply committed to continuing her journey as both a performer and educator, with a passion for sharing her love of dance with future generations.
