CCF provides transportation for 50 dance students from Kent Island Queen Anne’s County High Schools to attend a Jazz Masterclass at CCBC’s Essex Campus

On Oct. 14, 2024 the Carole Cascio Fund sponsored bus transportation for 50 dancers and their dance teachers, Amber Wright from Kent Island High School(KIHS) and Kristen Tyler from Queen Anne’s County High School (QACHS) to participate in a Jazz Masterclass taught by dance instructor Cynthia Gutierrez at the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) Essex campus. Cynthia is the newest member of the dance faculty at the renowned Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. She taught Latin based jazz class which was vigorous, lively and a lot of fun for the dancers.

CCF Intern Gabby Pfeiffer accompanied the teachers and the students to the master class which took place in the Wellness and Athletic Center. Over 150 students participated in the class from the Baltimore County High Schools.
