CCF Teaching Artist Adrienne Kraus Latanishen choreographs for Carnival of Curiosities at Chesapeake College.

October 19-22 & 26-29 The CCF commissioned choreographer Adrienne Kraus Latanishen to choreograph an opening dance for the fall Halloween musical, Harvest Horror: Carnival of Curiosities, Directed by Rob Thompson at Chesapeake College. Executive Director Peter Pucci and Rob Thompson, Associate Professor of Theatre Chair of Arts and Humanities are working together to bring dance to the Chesapeake College. By hiring Adrienne to participate in their fall play dancers and theater students were able to experience working with a professional choreographer. Over the course of 10 rehearsals between August 25 and October 19 Adrienne worked to create a new dance in collaboration with Director Rob Thompson. The content of the dance and the music added to the overall experience of the Carnival of Curiosities. Over multiple performances between October 19-22 & 26-29 dancers and theater students were able to participate and perform the dance over 40 times during the production’s run. It was a great collaborative experience for Rob and Adrienne to work together and to add a dance element to the production at Chesapeake College.
