On November 9th CCF provided a bus to enable 40 dance and theater students from Queen Anne’s County High School to attend the CCBC Dance Company’s Fall Dance Concert at the CCBC Dundalk Campus. Dance Teacher Kristen Tyler and Theater Teacher Megan Murphy accompanied the students. The students were able to enjoy a diversity of choreography, lighting and music set to the new dances that were created for the Dance Concert. The choreographers included Andrea Miller, the Artistic Director of the Gillin Dance Company from New York City, CCBC dance faculty members Melinda Blomquist, Tommy Parlon, and Kristi Schaffner. The Guest Artists choreographers were Adrienne Kraus Latanishen, Alice Howes and Melissa Lloyd. The program was lively, very energetic and presented a wide variety of creative choreography. The QACHS students and CCBC students participated in a post-concert Q&A session moderated by Melinda Blomquist the Director of Dance at the CCBC Essex campus. Executive Director Peter Pucci was delighted to join in with the QACHS students and teachers to see the Dance Concert.
