The CCBC Performing Arts Program directed by Anne Lefter and the CCBC Dance Company presented performances and videos for A Celebration of Life to honor Carole Drake Cascio’s contributions to the CCBC Dance Program. Kent Island Senior Center Pilates Classes

Peter visits Amy Goldsborough the Manager for the Kent Island Senior Center in Stevensville. Amy worked closely with Carole coordinating her Pilates classes. Over the course of four years Carole taught a modified class that was geared for the seniors using large rubber exercise balls. Amy said Carole’s class was very popular at the Senior Center and her classes were always pack with 40-50 seniors.

On Bringing Dance to Chesapeake College

Part of Carole’s wishes in her estate plan for the creation of CCF was to somehow bring dance and dance classes to Chesapeake College. Peter and Ann Karwacki Goodman meet with Dave Harper, Vice President of Workforce and Academic Programs and Kevin Brown, Executive Director of the Todd Performing Arts Center (TPAC). Dave and Kevin were incredibly helpful and very interested in the CCF proposals and many other possibilities were discussed.
